ABOUT THE POSITION

Job Title:                              Technical Support Analyst (FL)

Employment:                     Exempt – FT       

Location:                              Fort Lauderdale

Salary Range:                     USD 65,000 – 85,000

Under the supervision of the Helpdesk Manager, the Technical Support Analyst will provide onsite technical support for staff and end user equipment located in the Fort Lauderdale office, and remote support for all other internal end users. We are seeking a customer service focused technical individual capable of resolving a broad range of end-user computer issues and who can work both independently and collaboratively. The ideal candidate will have a deep desire and motivation to elevate their technical career, with knowledge of end-user computer devices and the Microsoft 365 product suite. Individuals must have either 1-2 years’ experience supporting end users and/or relevant industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, ITIL).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide onsite technical support in the Fort Lauderdale office 5 days a week, and remote IT support for other locations.
  • Support Windows traditional desktops and laptops, Azure virtual desktops, applications, mobile technologies and conference room equipment.
  • Identify, research, and resolve technical problems.
  • Maintain hardware inventory.
  • Maintain documentation for end user processes and procedures.
  • Operate with integrity and keen attention to detail.
  • Recommend and implement workflow improvements where applicable.
  • Safely maneuver and organize mounting equipment.
  •  Safely prepare items for shipping.

QUALIFICATIONS

(REQUIRED)

  • Experience and/or certifications with the Microsoft 365 and Windows client product suites. 
  • Knowledge of video conferencing technology.  
  • Knowledge of basic TCP/IP networking concepts. 
  • Knowledge of basic cybersecurity concepts. 
  • Demonstrated experience in resolving issues by troubleshooting problems. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Demonstrated ability to perform Physical IT Asset Tracking and Location Management using spreadsheets and accurate documentation. 
  • Demonstrated ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelors required, and reputable industry certifications will be well received.
  • Demonstrated ability to safely maneuver equipment.

(BENEFICIAL, NOT REQUIRED)

  • Experience and/or certifications with Azure and other Microsoft products (e.g., Intune, AVD, Defender).
  • Experience with PowerShell and/or Python.
  • Experience supporting Bloomberg Anywhere.
  • Experience with vulnerability & patch management.
  • Experience with Zscaler.
  • Experience with Proofpoint.
