ABOUT THE POSITION

This position will report to the Associate Director, Operations and Investor Servicing and will partner closely with key members of the Sales, Client Service, Onboarding, Marketing, Portfolio Operations, Compliance, Finance and Technology teams. This role will span a wide range and be involved in various strategic initiatives as well as executing details required to manage the regulatory activities and fund operations of GQG UCITS Funds.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage the regulatory activities and fund operations for the GQG UCITS Fund complex
  • Maintain current understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standard processes.
  • Establish working relationship with UCITS Fund Vendors (Fund Manager, Fund Administrator, Fund Accountant, Transfer Agent, etc.)
  • Identify gaps and develop procedural controls to oversee quality across service providers and internal GQG teams.
  • Implement regulatory, financial, platform and client reporting processes.
  • Provide subject-matter-expertise in response to internal/client queries.
  • Provide metrics and exception reports.
  • Update required reporting for 3rd Party Platforms, Reporting Agencies (including Tax), etc.
  • Review 3rd Party Commission, Platform, Rebate payments.
  • Ensure GQG revenue/expense activity attributable to the UCITS Fund complex is communicated accurately/timely to GQG Corporate Finance team (including Forecasts/projections).
  • Implement strategic changes (i.e. new fund vehicles, share classes, pricing, etc.)
Ensure superior Investor experience when transacting with the Fund
  • Develop strong understanding of the client onboarding, account maintenance, and subsequent transaction processes.
  • Monitor Salesforce Cases activity to ensure Investor requests are being handled in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure Investor information is accurately entered into Salesforce to support sales reporting and client inquiries.
  • Review Investor Rebate calculations for accuracy.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Finance or Accounting preferred).
  • 8+ years’ experience in UCITS Client Service/Fund Operations in UCITS asset management industry.
  • Ability to think strategically, assess risks/gaps/opportunities, and recommend solutions.
  • Proven success partnering with third-party vendors providing critical fund administration services.
  • Exceptional risk and business judgment, with the ability to integrate the two and partner with business leaders.
  • Demonstrated leadership of strategic initiatives that have improved workflows, productivity, efficiency, quality and service levels.
  • Proven track record leading teams in multiple successful complex implementations.
  • Ability to influence across all areas of the organization and work with all levels of employees effectively.
  • Ability to work in an intense environment under tight deadlines and competing priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work flexible hours in order to be available for meetings across global time zones.
  • Ability to learn and excel at day-to-day responsibilities and contribute to driving process improvement, standardization, and automation.
  • Strong communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Proficient using Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
