FORT LAUDERDALE, FLA. — GQG Partners has appointed London-based John Ormesher, CFA to the newly created role of Director, Wholesale (UK), reporting to Director, Head of Wholesale (UK & Ireland) Daniel Lee.

Mr. Ormesher joins GQG Partners from Ardevora Asset Management where he led the distribution of Ardevora’s fund business in the UK Wholesale market. Prior to working at Ardevora, Mr. Ormesher was a Client Advisor at BlueMountain Capital Management where he covered the UK, Nordics, and the Middle East. He started his career at Aberdeen Standard Investments where he held a variety of roles, including Associate Director of UK Institutional Business Development.
