ABOUT THE POSITION

Job Title:                              RFP and Database Writer

Employment:                     Exempt – FT       

Location:                              US East Coast (Remote or Hybrid) or Sydney, Australia (Hybrid)

This is an exciting opportunity to join a best-in-class and fast growing investment management firm and team. As an RFP and Database Writer, this team member will be responsible for completing and coordinating Requests for Proposals (RFP’s) and Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQ’s) in addition to updating Consultant Databases with varying levels of complexity. The role is highly interactive and requires teamwork across the organization to meet deadlines and provide accurate and timely information in a format that meets the quality standards of the firm. This is a rewarding and comprehensive role in the asset management industry that gives the right candidate a window not only into in-depth product knowledge but also all that an asset management firm undertakes to support our products and product investors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Completing and coordinating new and existing business questionnaires (RFP, RFI, DDQ) consistent with firm standards and within the required deadlines.
  • Perform ongoing and ad hoc consultant database updates.
  • Prepare files to be uploaded to databases.
  • Conduct database reviews for accuracy.
  • Maintain and update assigned content and documents utilized by the RFP Team.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 10 years of professional experience.
  • 5 years in asset management (preferably equities).
  • Consultant database management experience and/or RFP writing experience (3-5 years).
  • Strong analytical and data skills.
  • Excellent writing skills with attention to all aspects of final product (data, language, grammar, presentation).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a time sensitive environment.
  • Fluency in Excel (including formulas/macros) and MS Word.
  • Familiarity to RFPIO, Adobe Editor and SharePoint a plus.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Team oriented.
  • Comfortable interacting with all levels of organization.
  • Committed to learning.
