ABOUT THE POSITION

The Senior CRM Architect & Developer will possess deep knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities and have a proven track record of designing and implementing complex Salesforce solutions that cater to the unique challenges and opportunities within asset management. The role supports the work of the GQG Global Distribution Team and our overall go-to-market strategy through the application of technology and data driven solutions in the CRM ecosystem. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and within a small team structure which has significant reach across the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and other Salesforce technologies.
  • Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform and industry best practices.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across the asset management business to understand their needs and provide consultative guidance on Salesforce capabilities and limitations.
  • Conduct technical design sessions, create technical solution documentation, and contribute to project estimations and planning.
  • Lead code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Manage integration efforts with other enterprise systems, using integration platforms such as MuleSoft or Salesforce Connect.
  • Ensure the long-term stability, security, and scalability of Salesforce solutions, with an emphasis on maintaining alignment with regulatory and compliance requirements specific to the asset management industry.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to other Salesforce administrators and junior team members.
  • Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, QA teams, and other stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Keep abreast of new Salesforce features and functionality and provide recommendations for process improvements.
  • Drive innovation by exploring new Salesforce technologies and third-party applications that can enhance business processes and user experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Certified Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect credential is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Salesforce developer, with at least 2 years in an architect role.
  • Extensive experience with Salesforce development technologies, including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, data architecture, and data management best practices.
  • Experience in integrating Salesforce with other enterprise systems using both Salesforce-provided and custom-built tools.
  • Familiarity with the asset management industry and its regulatory environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to design scalable solutions that address complex business requirements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
