ABOUT THE POSITION

GQG Partners is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to join the firm’s Sydney office. The successful candidate will demonstrate an effective ability to market investment products to intermediary, institutional, and retail clients. The role will be accountable for supporting marketing campaigns which drive client acquisition and servicing efforts across marketing mediums.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build and execute marketing and communications strategies across intermediary,
  • institutional and the direct-to-consumer markets in Australia, New Zealand, and abroad.
  • Represent the needs of the local market in a global business.
  • Create, adapt, and distribute marketing materials for the Australian business across print,
  • digital, video, and email.
  • Maintain a broad knowledge of the Australian investment management landscape, including
  • competitive analysis, trends, and key developments.
  • Partner with the firm’s local PR agency to build the brand in the Australian market.
  • Serve as marketing support for ongoing investor relations initiatives.
  • Partner with sales, compliance, product management, finance, client service and work closely
  • with the global marketing team across time zones.
  • Manage and coordinate proprietary, third-party and virtual events and conferences.
  • Create advertisements and advertorials for digital and print industry publications.
  • Measure the effectiveness and develop ROI models for marketing campaigns, events, and
  • Advertising.
  • Foster relationships with vendors and client home offices.
  • Adhere to local regulations and practices regarding the promotion of investment management products.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of managed funds product marketing and/or channel marketing experience in
  • investment management.
  • Undergraduate degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
  • Proven track record of driving engagement and the adoption of investment products.
  • Skilled influencer with the ability to gain buy in with different teams across the business.
  • Results-driven, high-performing individual with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic with a professional demeanor and an intellectual curiosity.
